Powermoves heads to Miami for the Latin Billboard Awards!  Top 10 finalists of La Academia Esteban Velasquez will be representing Powermoves Entertainment when he showcases for the industrys best at the Eden Roc hotel in Miami April 21st, 2009.  Esteban was a top 10 finalists on La Academia televised on TV Azteca to millions of viewers.  La Academia is the equivalent of American Idol and Big Brother here in the United States and has millions of loyal viewers; Esteban was a fan favorite. "This is a unique opportunity for Powermoves to prove that is has the juice to perform in other genres of music; Esteban does Regional Mexican, Norteno, Pop and more!", says CEO Eric Martinez. "We are very excited to work with him and look forward to showing the best in the country what Esteban can do".

Jmar making alot of noise both Nationally and Internationally!  With a ringtone deal that puts Jmar on every major carrier for downloads, a new hit single, a store, a tour bus, and an in store tour that has Jmar getting up close and personal with his fans; there is no doubt that 2009 is going to be a breakout year for the R&B Star.  Jmar's new single "Addicted To You" is starting to spread and radio and fans are finally taking notice that this is no ordinary struggling artist; Jmar is the real deal.  Jmar's schedule is already getting full with in store appearances, shows and radio shows; up next is the official "No Denying It" CD Release Party which is going to be at a location to be announced in Las Vegas, NV! Eric Martinez lands the role of "Federal Officer" in an upcoming episode of "In Plain Sight" on USA Network.  Eric who is represented in Albuquerque, NM by the O'Agency will be shooting tentatively the week of April 16th-22nd.  Eric will join an all star cast when he shoots on the series.

Eric seen here at the cast announcement and kick off party for the made for TV series "Locked" lands a co-starring role as George Jaramillo a mafia ringleader.  The series produced by Tito Chavez of Tiguex Productions will be shot entirely in Albuquerque, NM and will feature NM talent with cast and crew.  Shooting is tentatively scheduled for June 2, 2009 and will continue through out this summer, with Eric returning for the reoccurring role.  

Eric Martinez is scheduled to appear at the Latin Billboard Awards Red Carpet and After Party this year in Miami Beach.  As the CEO of Powermoves Entertainment Eric is representing Latin Artist Esteban Velasquez and will have him showcasing at the Eden Roc Hotel April, 21st.  This will be Eric's 3rd trip to this prestigious event and is very excited about the opportunities for Esteban; "This is a big deal for him to be showcasing at the Latin Billboards! reps and artists from all over the world come to this event and we are happy to be a part of it.  I was here when The Dey showcased and well you know how big they became! Esteban has the same chance.", says Eric.

Eric Martinez was a speaker at last years LULAC National Convention in Washington, D.C. for the Youth Banquet and hopes to attend this year as a guest speaker as well.  "I was honored to speak at the event last year and would love the opportunity to participate at any level they need me this year in Puerto Rico.  This organization helps so many people on so many levels; it's easy to be in awe of the those who dedicate their lives to the cause of this wonderful organization day in and day out", says Eric.

Colby O'Donis was nominated for a Grammy for teaming up with Lady Ga Ga for the hit single "Just Dance". Eric Martinez is getting set to shoot the new major motion picture "Oblivious". Eric Martinez is gearing up for his role as Bryan in the motion picture produced by Marlon Campbell.  The film will be shooting in Arizona and will be a 45 day shoot; the film will also include actors Bokeem Woodbine and Lauren Barrett.  Stayed tuned for more details!
