Jmar was recently chosen by executive director Jeff Siembieda to sing the National Anthem at this years game.  The game will be televised nationally and is expected to have at least 27,000 fans watching live!  Jmar will be front and center at the 50 yard line. Last year Grammy Nominated singer Jana sang the national anthem at the game. PME inks deal with the ESPN New Mexico Bowl to distribute 30,000 samplers at this years game

This year at the ESPN New Mexico Bowl Powermoves will be reaching 30,000 sports and music fans with its new cd music sampler!  “This will be the biggest one yet with some of the hottest new and established artists in the music business featured and legendary DJ Tony Touch hosting the sampler!” says Eric Martinez.  Music from all over the country is pouring in for this project and will only continue to grow as we approach the deadline to be featured on the sampler. Dombeatz kept telling Powermoves CEO Eric Martinez about Royalty Life Records and it’s CEO Humble.  Finally Eric took it upon himself to meet this vibrant young music mogul which led to a 6 hour talk about music, industry standards on a national level and artists on each others roster.  “I honestly did not know what to expect of him based on what I had heard in the streets, but Humble is probably one of the nicest and most grateful people I have ever met here in Albuquerque. No ego, no nonsense about being something he is not in music, his labels staff is extremely professional and both of his artists are lyrically 2 of the nicest I’ve heard from here!” says PME CEO Eric Martinez.  Royalty Life is definitely a no nonsense team and based on its track record for cd sales one of the only crews that can actually say they run the streets. With over 30,000 units sold it’s hard to argue. These guys followed Major Moves’ footsteps when it came to street hustle; Humble said he had heard of Powermoves when he first came to New Mexico and knew that before he approached PME, he would have to get his game right, that meeting took 3 years. “I didn’t want to come empty handed to someone like Eric, I needed some battle scars to show him that I respect what he has done for the NM Music scene on a national level. PHOCUS COMPETES AT THE EMERGENZA FESTIVAL
Phocus competes at for the state Emergenza festival with a chance to advance to the regionals.

Phocus competes in the 2007 Emergenza Festival on June 9th, 2007 at Sunshine Theatre in Albuquerque, NM.  Emergenza is the largest concert organizer of unsigned bands around the world. The audience and a selected panel of judges select the bands that proceed to the next round. Phocus has already made it through the second round (city finals) and are now competing for the state title to advance to the regional finals in Denver. Powermoves Entertainment staff and artists Jmar and VVS attended one of the hottest events in the country, The Latin Music Billboard Awards in Beautiful Miami, Florida. JMar and VVS walked the red carpet and were interviewed by numerous TV and network press. While in Miami PME staff met with Grammy award winning producers Luny Tunes and Da Rock as well as Pit Bull, Chingo Bling, Nina Sky, Zion, Play and Skillz and more. PME also met with Def Jam and Universal Latino on possible collaborations with JMar and VVS. To end off the week the entire camp celebrated at Game 3 of the NBA Playoffs and watched the Miami Heat vs the Chicago Bulls.

Speaking role alongside Christian Slater in new movie entitiled "Love Lies Bleeding".

After a 3 year hiatus from acting to run his now successful label, Eric Martinez lands a role in the new Christian Slater movie, Love Lies Bleeding. “I’ve been an extra in more movies then I can count and I knew in order to take my career to the next level I had to hold out for the auditions that let me read for roles”, says Eric. Having a speaking role in a major movie with a major actor is a great accomplishment. Other notable actors in the movie are Jenna Dewan from the hit movie “Step Up”, Brian Geragthy from “Jarhead” and Jacob Vargas from “Jarhead” and “Selena”. PME staff met with Coca-Cola and discussed several possibilities about teaming up to develop a strategy to market to the Urban Latino community. Once again NBA All-Star Weekend was crazy! Every major star was there to party and network. Powermoves was no exception. While there Powermoves met with fashion directors, magazine editors, TV executives and Radio executives.
