February 16 -18 in Las Vegas, Nevada Powermoves artists; Dreeg, V2, Clika One and LOC will be performing live at Take 1 Nightclub.  NBA All-Star Weekend is one of the hottest celebrity events in the country and every year celebrities and athletes converge for this 3 day event! This will be the second year that Powermoves is involved. Last year Powermoves represented with So So Def Records in Houston with artist T. Waters! We are very excited to be a part of the NBA All-Star weekend again this year.

L.O.C. TO RECORD THE TITLE SONG FOR A NEW MOVIE
"The Rise and Fall of Their American Dream"

PME artist L.O.C. gets song placement in "The Rise and Fall of Their American Dream"; a movie being filmed in New Mexico! L.O.C. out of the PME Denver camp is currently working on a title song for the movie. The producers reached out to Powermoves and were very pleased with L.O.C. and his style and decided to use him for the feature track. “We are very excited for this opportunity for both Powermoves and L.O.C., he deserves this.” says CEO Eric Martinez.

PME PERFORMS AT INAUGURAL ESPN NEW MEXICO BOWL

Powermoves performs at the inaugural ESPN New Mexico Bowl! On Dec. 23rd Executive Director Jeff Siembieda invited Powermoves artists out to perform at the pre game tail gate party and PME did not disappoint! 3M Crew, RaShaan Houston, Phocus, Dreeg and Profit, Nemesis, Amethyst, and V2 performed to a hype crowd! CD Samplers, magazines and giveaways kept the crowd happy as well! Many thanks to the PME staff Eric Martinez, Jon Chavez, Vince Jiron, Wesley Espinoza, Jeremy Aragon, and 8 Ball on their hard work.

Powermoves gears up for a big year in 2007! CEO Eric Martinez will be off to North Carolina filming a new reality series, Powermoves will be at NBA All-Star Weekend in Vegas, the Powermoves Radio Promo tour begins in March reaching more than 37 cities, Dreegs new maxi single drops, 3M Crew drops a new album, V2 drops new single ft. Eddie Cane, RaShaan Houston takes on a whole new style and much more! 2007 is set to be a very busy year for the staff as well with Vice President Jon Chavez slated to speak at numerous music conferences around the country along with CEO Eric Martinez. Eli, Ed "Gbop" Garnett, and AO are the 3 three producers that compile this new production team named Day One Productionz. The group met with CEO Eric Martinez last week and showed him some of their tracks and the rest as they say is history.  “I’ve known AO(Anthony Ortega) for a minute and I have always loved his tracks, I could just never lock him down”, say Eric.  Now teamed up with Eli who founded Day One, AO will be co-producing tracks with the team and lacing fire for the PME camp.  With them on board and hot production coming for Big Vic and Kool E D both of whom have impressive resumes; Powermoves is planning on big hits and high cd sales in 2007!  One of the first projects already on tap for Day One is their collaboration with Universals Eddie Cane and PME’s V2.

ERIC MARTINEZ NAMED A FOUNDING STAR OF THE URBAN CONVERGENCE FESTIVAL
August 22-26, 2007 - Vail, Colorado

Powermoves CEO Eric Martinez named one of the founding stars for the Urban Convergence Festival in Vail, Co. August 22-26 2007!  Eric Martinez was recently named one of the founding faces for this prestigious event along side names like Samuel L. Jackson, Kanye West, Fergie, Temptations, Jimmy Smits, Bokeem Woodbine, Stevie Wonder and many others! Also named was the original funky diva herself! Dawn Robinson! “Eric represents what’s new to come in the entertainment industry with his label Powermoves Entertainment, and we are proud to have him!”, says John Zaring the events executive director.  The Urban Convergence Festival was put in place to educate on health issues and educational issues affecting today’s youth. All of PME’s roster will perform at the event and it will be announced soon in a national press release and national television!

JON CHAVEZ NAMED VP OF OPERATIONS
Jon Chavez will now be handling operations for the entire company

Former head of A&R Jon Chavez named VP of Operations! – Jon Chavez who has only been with the company 6 months and has already proven himself on every level that he can handle what the title brings. “Jon has done extremely well with understanding that this business is about multi-tasking and that sometimes you have to do what no one else wants to do ”, say CEO Eric Martinez.  Jon handles everything from new music to marketing, as well as the up keep and design of the website. Taking Jon’s former position as A&R Director is Eric Roybal aka DJ Connect, and will fill the spot with years of experience as well. “This business is non stop, with no compassion as to whether your tired, sick, or both!, I have stretched Jon and without complaint he has adjusted very well”, says Eric.  Jon in 6 short months has been to 3 of the biggest music conferences in the country and more to come.
